A Harmony of Wood, Stone, and Lush Plantings

This project demonstrates how a thoughtful combination of materials and a rich planting palette can transform a backyard into a dynamic garden. For our client, Nick, we layered different textures and zones to maximize the charm and functionality of the space.

At the heart of the design is a warm wood deck with a unique angled corner, showcasing our custom carpentry. This is complemented by a natural flagstone path and a clean pea gravel border. A healthy sod lawn provides a soft, green canvas for the varied planting plan, which mixes the structural forms of succulents with the soft textures of ornamental grasses and bamboo. A new wood fence with a decorative lattice detail provides the final touch of privacy and elegance.
